Two "American Girls" tour a house at Las Golondrinas

El Rancho de las Golondrinas is open for self-guided tours from
June through September. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday through Sunday. Volunteers dressed in period clothing
greet visitors at various exhibits throughout the museum.

Special arrangements can be made for guided tours from April through
October. School groups are especially welcome.

Introduce your American girl to Maria Josefina Montoya, an Hispanic
girl of heart and hope, growing up on her family's rancho in New Mexico,
similar to El Rancho de las Golondrinas in 1824. Tours are offered on
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning at 9:30 a.m., June
through September, 2009. Reservations are required. To book your tour,
